A Note From The Publisher

Greetings in Christ!

It's been my pleasure to provide the Christian community with this quality resource for the third consecutive year. A warm welcome to our new advertisers this year, and a special thanks with my deepest gratitude to those who believe in the purpose of Divine Connections and have been faithful advertiser from the beginning... God Bless You! I am committed to publishing Divine Connections for years to come, so that you and I together may continue taking our stand for Christ in the marketplace.

This past year has been a real challenge for many of us. Sadly, I've seen several Christian businesses close their doors. Unfortunately, there may be more to come. Many of us are concerned about the economy, the 2009 Presidential election, and world events. Now more than ever I believe the Lord wants us to unite in the marketplace. I pray each Christian catches the vision and purpose of Divine Connections!

The Purpose Of Divine Connections is to:

  • Connect the Christian consumer to Christian professionals and businesses who have the highest integrity and honesty, by providing a way for the Christian professional and business owner's to make known their stand for Christ in the marketplace, while opening doors for witnessing.
  • Advance and help fund the Kingdom of God by supporting Christians in the marketplace thereby enabling more tithes going into the storehouses. (churches)
  • Unite the Christian community by crossing denominational lines and coming together in the marketplace.
Unity among the brethren, I believe, is a high priority on God's list for His people. Pslams 133:1 says, 'Behold, how good and how pleasant [it is] for brethren to dwell together in unity!'

God has called us ALL to love one another and work together. Jesus chose 12 men from the workplace and spent most of his time investing his life in those 12 to perform the same miracles He did. Consider the following facts:

  • Of Jesus' 132 public appearances in NT, 122 were in the marketplace
  • Of 52 parables Jesus told, 45 had a workplace context. Of 40 divine interventions recorded in Acts, 39 were in the marketplace.
  • Jesus spent his adult life as a carpenter until age 30 before he went into
a preaching ministry in the workplace. Jesus called 12 workplace individuals to build His church.

Divine Connections is made up of Christian businesses and professional people from various denominations, and though we may differ in minor doctrine, we all agree Jesus Christ is LORD and His Word is the basis of our faith!

All advertisers in Divine Connections do not necessarily offer cheaper prices and discounts are not automatically given. The quality of their work or products may not be any better than their competitors, but because we are called to a higher standard I sincerely believe when patronizing those listed in Divine Connections you will receive courteous and considerate service above the normal business/customer relationship. Be assured that as a Divine Connections advertiser your business and ALL that concerns you is covered in prayer.

"I pray for good fortune in everything you do, and for your good health - that your everyday affairs prosper, as well as your soul!" 3John1:2 (The Message Bible).

My prayer is that everyone will make use of this valuable resource guide

Please tell our advertisers you saw them in

Divine Connections

Until next year...may the Lord richly bless and prosper you!
The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. I have come so that you might have life and have it more abundantly.
John 10:10
